We are starting the Unit 5 about Countable and Uncountable nouns. Don't worry if you don't understand it at the beginning, QUE NO CUNDA EL PÁNICO!! Es un concepto abstracto, pero lo acabaréis entendiendo todos!
To start with this explanation, the vocabulary about food must be copied and translated in your notebook.
In the first picture you have some examples of countable and uncountable nouns. In the second picture you have more characteristics and facts that will help you to identify if that foods are countable or uncountable. Now, I want you to watch the following video, that I am sure it will be useful too:
Espero que ahora tengáis los conceptos de COUNTABLE and UNCOUNTABLE un poco más claros. (Dudas en comentarios, please!)
Second point of the lesson: GRAMMAR
As you can see, in the Grammar Chart of page 51, you can see examples of sentences using countable and uncountable nouns. You have some words highlighted in purple colour (lots of, some, a few, a little, any). This words must be copied and translated in your notebook, in the grammar section. (Vamos, que lo copiamos y traducimos en el apartado de grammar de la libreta como hacemos siempre, que nadie me diga que no lo había entendido 😌)
Things to do/ Homework:
Ahora que ya tenemos claro lo que significan todas las palabras que aparecen en las lessons 1&2 y entendemos el concepto de contable e incontable, podemos hacer las páginas 50 y 51 del Activity Book:
Page 50:
Act.1 - As always, in the book.
Act.2 - Understand all the words, and if you can, make the questions to any member of your family or friends (llamada, videollamada... así os veis la cara un poco si os apetece)
Act.3 - If you haven't done the act.2 with any person, you can invent the activity 3.
Page 51:
Only Activities 1 and 4.
Notebook:
-Copy and translate in the grammar section: lots of, some, a few, a little, any.
-Circle in Blue colour the countable nouns and in Green colour the Uncountable Nouns (de las palabras de vocabulario sobre FOOD que ya teníamos copiadas y traducidas en la libreta).
Con esto tenemos las dos primeras lessons. Por favor, cualquier duda a comentarios.
Por si algún compi no se ha metido todavía, avisad de que el blog ya está en marcha y tenéis faena para un par de días por hacer.
